7 Top Model’s Life-Saving Summer Beauty Essentials

Cont’s literally their full-time job to look gorgeous for a living, we always want to know what models are stocking in their beauty cabinet. The latest face wash that has kept them breakout-free? We need it. The hair mask they use after countless heat stylings on set? Clearly it’s the one we also want to use, even if we don’t have a stylist pulling on our strands day after day. And of course, the lip color that gives them those “I didn’t try but I look this fabulous” lips? Buying ASAP.

We spoke to some of the hottest (and busiest) models now, from Stella Maxwell (yes, Miley’s girl) to Soo Joo Park to find out what keeps them flawless day after day.

Favorite SPF:
I started using Triple Active Glow. It has SPF 15, so I use that. It’s hydrating and not very thick and powdery.

Must-Have Lip Product:If it’s a casual night out, I rarely use more than five products to get ready. I use liquid eyeliner, like the one from L’Oréal Paris Infallible line, because it’s fast and convenient. And then I use Glam Bronze Powder Duo, for a little contour. I love using Smith’s Rosebud Salve not only on my lips but also as a highlighter on the cheekbones. That makes my skin look dewy.

Hair Must:
Changing my hair color has really opened my eyes to caring for it and the proper maintenance required. The best thing is treatments. Always use treatments! As an ongoing routine, I have simplified my regimen to 3 steps: prime, strengthen, and seal. After shampooing, I use Redken Extreme Length Primer, rinse, then apply the Extreme Strength Builder Plus hair mask. I keep it on for 20 minutes, and rinse. To seal the moisture and treatment, I use Redken Extreme Sealer, which is in the form of a squeeze brush. It’s a perfect size that fits even in a handbag. I even bring it on my flights and apply it while I’m watching inflight entertainment!

Skin Savior:
L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Creme-huile extraordinaire is my go-to cream for nighttime. I use L’Oréal Paris Absolue Douceur to remove eye-makeup and Koh Gen Do Cleansing Water on a cotton pad to cleanse. My favorite masks are from Dr. Jart+. VIDIVICI is a great, more luxury Korean beauty brand that I really like too.

And, For That Emergency Pop of Color:
I’ll do a pop of eye color or a nice red lip. I use Colour Riche lipstick in True Red. It’s the perfect red.

Supergoop Sun Defying Sunscreen Oil SPF 50. There’s nothing more flattering than dewy healthy skin, especially in a bikini! I love that this body oil has the added benefit of SPF and antioxidants to protect my skin.

Must-Have Lip Product:
Rodin lip balm by Linda Rodin. I wear this balm before applying lipstick. It’s so luxurious and ultra nourishing with castor seed oil and Shea butter as well as Linda’s signature blend of essential oils, including jasmine and orange flower.

Hair Must:
Wen by Chaz Dean’s Smoothing Glossing Serum in Pomegranate. My solution to dry brittle ends! I love to apply this, then braid my hair, and after an hour my hair is left with shiny mermaid like texture.

Skin Savior:
Radical Skincare Instant Revitalizing Mask. After long flights I rely on this mask to brighten and hydrate my skin. It’s like a quickie facial!

Go-To Mascara:

And, For That Emergency Pop of Color:
Wander Beauty’s On-the-Glow Blush and Illuminator in coral rose never leaves my bag.  In the summer I love to mix our illuminator and cream blush together to add extra sun kissed color to my cheeks. It’s the ultimate multitasking beauty essential!

Hair Must: Klorane dry shampoo, it covers up dark roots when you’re too lazy to wash your hair, whoops!
Skin Savior: La Mer face cream. A very worth it splurge!
Go-To Mascara: NARS Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara. It doesn’t run and it comes off easily.
