Kanye West is getting some heat for his 2016 Met Gala outfit! Amidst dapper suits and dazzling gowns, Yeezy sported some ripped jeans to the fashion affair, and the fan reaction was not so positive. The 38-year-old rapper was bashed on Twitter for his dressed-down ensemble! Do you think he deserved such backlash?
Ripped JeansAs soon as Kanye and Kim Kardashian hit the Met red carpet, fans immediately took to social media to call out Kanye for dressing down (especially compared to his wife). While some fans simply questioned his choice of jeans for such a dressy affair, others wrote that he looked “stupid” and “awful.” One even declared that Anna Wintour should lock him in a bathroom because of his outfit!
Considering Kanye rocked a super classy velvet suit to last year’s Met Gala, surely fans were a bit surprised to see him take such a different route with his outfit just one year later. They had no problem expressing their disappointment with his casual ensemble, either!
